You’ve heard of the Grey Nomads . . . retirees enjoying themselves in
caravans, campervans and RV’s . . . traveling Australia without a care in
the world . . . no deadlines, except to get to the next new adventure . .
. well, add to this a sense of mission, a desire to make a difference, the
fellowship of Christian brothers and sisters and a unique opportunity to
encourage and assist rural and remote churches, and you have . . .

The fellowship of 2
or 3 other couples, the comfort of your own caravan or RV, serving with
rural churches for 4 – 6 weeks and enjoying the beauty of rural and
outback NSW

Baptist Rural Support
Services (BRSS) has developed the SilverNomad programme to harness the
experience and vitality of retirees in our city churches and provide them
with a new way to serve Christ.
All you
need is your own caravan, campervan or RV and a desire to travel and see
the beauty of rural and remote NSW.
BRSS
will provide basic training for you and two or three other couples who
will be part of your team and connect you with a rural church where you
can provide encouragement, support and friendship.

Joining a
SilverNomad
team is easy. Contact David
Jones
at
Baptist Rural Support Services or fill out the form
below to register your interest. You may have other people in your
church who would be interested in being part of your team. BRSS will
provide basic training to familiarise you with rural life and rural
ministry; we will connect you to a church that will benefit from your
presence, encouragement and support; and we will provide information,
advice and supervision to ensure your involvement is a time of real
blessing. And, you’ll have lots of time to travel and explore your part of
rural NSW.
